I'm really excited to have my first major exhibit in Buffalo, NY next month at the renowned Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center opening September 12th.  Should include over 30 works from the past 5 years.

I have a timed print release of "Little Consumer" starting Monday December 2nd at 12 am Est.

Ending Tuesday morning 12 am. However many prints are sold throughout the day will designate the edition!  See you then! 

MY FIRST CURATED SHOW

This coming December 14th in New York at Last Rites Gallery  My first ever curated show will open called Bound Requiem.  Its an examination of bound printed matter as an artist medium.  A new use, a re-purpose, if you will, of the soon to become obsolete book.

I've asked over 25 artist to interpret their version of "Book Art".  All works will incorporate an old bound book of some sort.  Should be pretty cool.

GOODBYE TO MY DEAR MOM

Carmella S. Mararian 08/09/1931 - 09/15/2013

I lost my dear Mother last Sunday at 5:00 a.m. in Hospice here in Buffalo, New York.  It was a long summer of last laughs and final favorite meals - no tears really, just getting her treatments and looking for fun and hope.  She was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and I brought her up North from Florida so they could give her treatments that her Florida Doctors refused to do.

Anyway as I have written elsewhere I had spent every day with her these last 3 months and what a fun, crazy, grueling, heartbreaking, beautiful crescendo it was.

Mom, my life will never be the same again.  Period.  Ever.  You were lovely through and through.
