SWEENEY TODDLER

Found these photos of a doll I did for Mezco Toy's very first (and apparently very last) Living Dead Doll Art show here in NYC. I forgot how cute this little guy was. I have to say I was looking forward to doing another if they asked me.

THE OTHER OCTOBER SHOW COMING UP

Wind up gallery out of Mesa. I want to do something cool for those guys....I just realized I don't have much time now, have to get moving.

JESUS LIPS

Went to Fedex to send my art off to the Yves Laroche Gallery for their October show and on the Bus over I found this little gem. It was just sitting there begging to be noticed. I took it as a sign. It is a felt cut out of red lips with the word Jesus on them. I know it doesn't have anything to do with my art or Ink Dreadfuls but someone did make this and as far as I'm concerned it's an awesome work of art.

CAME ACROSS A BLOG...

It's Called Mama Drama (A reader blog about children with Stephanie Auton, Heather Alexander Beam, Jennifer Lawson, Mindy Sterba and Kate Suratt) and I though I would post a link to some of the comments they received about an Inky Dreadfuls link they put up. I'm always fascinated to see how people perceive my work, especially the demographic of their readship....I felt compelled to shoot them a note as well, not sure if they will post it.

MY WIFE'S PHOTOGRAPHY IN OPRAH'S MAGAZINE

I'm so proud of Elizabeth - she was asked to grace our friends apartment with some of her photography in anticipation of their feature in O At Home - It's a great layout that just hit the stands today. The photos shown on the walls are some of the Chelsea flea markets she chronicled over the last few years. Many of those markets sadly now are gone...
